The things people ask first
- Is pricing final?
- No. Kelekto is in early access and subscription billing is not switched on yet. The plans above are indicative of where pricing is heading. Everything is free to use in the meantime, and you will never be charged without opting in.
- What happens to my data if I stop paying?
- Your data stays yours. Accounts drop to read-only rather than being deleted, and you can export your clients, contracts, invoices and payments at any time.
- Do you support VAT?
- Yes. Tax is generic throughout — you set the tax name, default rate and treatment at organisation level, and override it per contract, per rate or per invoice line. UK VAT presets for 20%, 5%, zero-rated and exempt are built in.
- Can I bill in more than one currency?
- Yes. Currency resolves contract → client → organisation, and expenses retain their original currency, the exchange rate applied and the base-currency amount.
- Do I have to track time?
- No. Time tracking is entirely optional. You can log work as you go, or simply enter “12.5 days” while building the invoice.
- Is my accountant going to be happy?
- Kelekto is not an accounting system and does not pretend to be. It produces accurate, auditable invoices and payment records, with accounting integrations planned so those numbers reach whatever your accountant already uses.
